Family Matters Project - The Aims
Family Matters Project is concerned with the influence of emigration and immigration on communities and families, the role of volunteering in supporting families, the accessibility of services for children, the work of selected youth representatives, best practices and various methods which could be used by every local government.
The main aims of the project include:
- comparing the ways of providing services for children by both local governments
- studying the issues connected with immigration
- concerning the ways of maintaning and improving teaching standards, especially among families affected by emigration and the instability of its members
- comparing the roles and functions of voluntary organizations in supporting families and the unity of community
- respecting the voice of youth and observing the work of student councils
- promoting and developing discussions on best practices in the field of providing services for children and youth
- the most suitable methods of supporting the development of children and youth
